The Full Moon is nearly here. It reaches perfection here MST just before 9 AM. The Full Moon is at 0 degrees of Virgo opposing the Sun at 0 degrees of Pisces. This is a foreshadowing- a moment in time illuminating what’s to come. With the Sun just moving into Pisces and Mercury having just past Neptune, both in Pisces, this is a time to address emotions, communicating them and sitting in them. It’s not a comfortable process, but necessary. Usually Mercury moves very quickly, so a connection with Neptune would typically be brief (less than a day) but because it will soon begin it’s retrograde cycle, Mercury is going to come back to this place with Neptune at the end of March and ride with him through the sky for 12 days. This is a rare occurrence and when Mercury is in an unhappy sign, these 2 tend to make trouble together on a global level.
While Mercury and Neptune together can often lead to delusion, escapism, and weird sleep patterns, the pair is making an opportunistic aspect to Saturn, Venus and Pluto in Capricorn. It’s time to examine and release emotional pain that is holding you back. Subconscious patterns may surface now giving you the opportunity to let that shit go. Take a good look at your patterns around responsibility, commitment, relationships and values. Are they warn out and holding you back? Let that shit go.
With Mars in Taurus, make a solid plan and accept slow and steady progress to manifesting your dreams. You’re only limited by your own imagination and with the Mercury /Neptune dance there will be plenty of time to expand your vision for the future. I love what Anne Ortelee said about using music during this transit to access and release emotions. Neptune is very connected to music, so during this next 6 weeks use music to lift you up if you’re feeling down. Use music to identify emotions, sometimes we need something outside ourselves to help shine a light on our inner world. Use music to release- like Anne said play a sad song to induce an emotional release.
The Sun is moving into Pisces, so this is usually an emotional time of year. It’s no accident that Universities timed reading week when the Sun makes this change every year- it can be an emotionally intense and overwhelming time, especially for those of us who are horoscopically dry in the emotional area. The gift is, this full Moon is coming to show us areas that need attention. Love yourselves and each other. There’s a new astrological year just around the corner.
